2026 Newington Field Hockey

We are almost there! 🏑 As we get ready to officially kick off the    2026 season, here are a few important updates and reminders.    We are excited to get everyone back on the field and begin building    toward a great season together!

📅 Booster Club Meeting — Tonight!

 All returning families and families of incoming players    are encouraged to attend!

Our Booster Club plays an important role in the continued growth and    success of Newington Field Hockey. Their support helps provide    opportunities for our athletes, assists with team events, apparel,  fundraising, special programs, and so much more.

Just as importantly, the Booster Club helps strengthen the sense of    community surrounding our program. Whether you have been part of    Newington Field Hockey for years or are brand new to the program,    we would love to have you involved.

🚨 Tryout Schedule Update

 Tryouts begin Monday, August 24.

    For the remainder of tryouts, please continue to    plan for:

    ⏰ 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

    as originally announced.

Beginning August 24, all tryout dates are considered    mandatory. We completely understand that unavoidable    conflicts can happen. If an athlete is unable to attend any portion    of tryouts, the athlete should reach out to the coaching staff    directly regarding the conflict.

🎒 Come Prepared!

Please bring all field hockey equipment you currently have    with you on the first day.

    We will have some equipment available to borrow beginning after the    first day of tryouts.

    Athletes should arrive with:

   
• 🏑 Field hockey equipment
   
• 👟 Athletic sneakers
   
• 👕 Appropriate athletic clothing
   
• 💧 Plenty of water
   
• ☀️ Sunscreen
   
• 📓 Your training journal
   
• 🍎 Healthy snacks are also encouraged

👕 Apparel Coming Tuesday!

Newington Field Hockey apparel will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday!
